After hitting a deer and having a headlight pointing at the ground I went looking for some 96-98 headlights. I was not much of a fan of the 99+. I was at the JY and found some 99+ at the right price and there are never any 3rd gens there. This one was a Cash for clunkers. I noticed a big difference in light dispersement from the 99+ headlights. I highly reccomend them and after installing them I am really happy with the updated look as well.

 

glad you like them.. I've noticed a lot of people doing the swap. I wish there was a way to mod the 99+ to do a 03+ swap but there is just no freakin way. Well, I'm sure there is but it would involve too much for just swapping headlights

 

Projector retrofits.......But I don't think I like they way it looks like an "eye" although the light output is very impressive.

 

true, but cost a pretty penny..

 

yep i switch to oem 99+ headlights too got them dirt cheap off ebay makes the truck look that much better

o u stole them i paid about 35 or so ea for mine that and i sold my old ones soo i really wasn't out to much money
