ok so i need to move the ac controls lower in the console for my touch screen install:

my question to you is how do i extend/move those cables to fit? i want to install the ac controls to where the cig lighter socket and ash tray are now, below the radio slot.

you could buy my 99 AC control, and splice the cables together!

 

how does the 99 work? i thought it was all electronic?

only the Limited are electronic. Same setup as any non-electric. Its cable actuated. Should be exact same as yours.

btw, if that setup where your rear window switch is ever goes bad, PM me. I have that part from a 5sp 4Runner (they are 99-00 ONLY) and harder than hell to find a plug and play unit (autos have an ECT button next to the window up/down switch, instead of that black blank)
