98 4 runner sr-5...What should I ask for it??

I was considering selling my 98 runner to free up some spare change...I believe that I got a heck of a deal on it when I bought it for 6500 almost a year ago...Now the thing is kbb says 7500 in exc. and 7000 in good for my area (de 19720)... The ones I see around here generally run about 1500-3000 higher than what I paid for mine...So anyway here it is...1998 sr-5 4 runner with a 3.4/5spd..143k on the clock, black ext. w gray int.. T-belt/w.p. done at 120k, new frt pads and rotors along with a new toyota starter...Overall the truck is probably in between good and excellent cond on the outside, and the interior is immaculate... So what do u guys think I should ask for the truck..???

Compare KBB to Edmunds to Cars.com to Autotrader (private listings) . Get some prices, average them out, take that average and add on a few hundred (room to negotiate).

That's how I price mine and it works great.

ask for 9500. When you get offered 8000 for it laught and say 8500. and accept it. therefore you will make 2000
