96 Tacoma rear suspension

Hello i have a 1996 tacoma standard cab with about a three in lift. My dad got me some custom spring, built to carry heavier load, but they are very stiff and dont give me alot of articulation. I am looking for a good leaf pack that will ride good a give me good articulation, but doesnt have to be the best. I have looked at the all pro off road one which i like and alittle over buget, but you have to cut the hangers both front and rear and put new ones on. Has anyone had experaince doing this or is there a simplier option that maybe cheaper. Thanks
