I have been having some pretty bad vibrations on my 4runner. I figured it was the U Joints just from what I know. The vibrating feels like it is coming from underneath me. My seat has a good vibration running through it as well as my steering wheel. Also when I shift from P to R it lets out a pretty good jerking motion and I read that is a sign of a bad U joint.

Now the weird thing is when I crawled underneath just to confirm my suspicions, there was absolutely no play in the U joints at all. I am befuddled to say the least.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Motor Mounts could cause shaking from park to in gear.
