96 4runner not starting

i have a 96 4runner 3.4l and it is not starting. It will turn and i can smell fuel but it seems that it will not fire. occasionally it will try to kick but it can't. i am at a loss so any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Recent mods, work, sounds worth noting?

What's the history on the vehicle? Mileage?

Is there spark? Try disconnecting the Mass air flow sensor.

well it has 125k on it. the modifications as of now are trd supercharger, urd fuel system upgrade, cold air intake, headers, exhaust, level 10 tranny, level 10 torque converter.

it was working fine one day then the next day it wouldnt start. is there an easy way to check for spark? recently i had the exhaust welded. it started briefly and it was running very rough.

thanks brian

Who did the install of the FTC1 (the URD fuel/timing box)? The symptoms sound like the tap into the MAF is shorted or the tap at the crank position sensor is broken.

inductive timing light or take out one of the sparkplug and literally watch it spark or not.
