93 V6 Header/exhaust Question...
I want to upgrade to a different exhaust sys. but I'm on a tight budget. I've done the air box mod, and eliminated the intake silencers. Other than that the truck is stock. What are my options? Brands? Any help will be awesome!

An aftermarket muffler and bigger pipe will make a big difference. There's a section on that somewhere here on the board. It has different mufflers, sounds, & seat of the pants opinions. I spent lots of time there before I finally purchased my setup.
I went with a Dynomax Superturbo and 2.25 pipe from the cat back on my 90 V6. The increase in power was very noticeable and immediate. Except for a nice low rumble between 2-3k RPM, the Dynomax is quiet, even at highway speeds.
Good luck,

Yeah, Downey headers and a good cat back system will really free up some flow. It wont turn the 3.0 into a speed demon, but it will be a nice difference.
Downey headers will run you about $350 and a custom cat back with performance muffler will run you about $300.
Not sure what your budget is, but that is what you should expect.
