Question ? 86 Pickup Short Shifter and Intake System ?

I have a 1986 Toyota Pickup. (22RE Engine.) I was wondering if anyone knew where I could purchase a short shifter for my truck. Also, I was looking for a new intake system. (Ex. K&N Intake System) But I can only find ones for 1988 pickups and up. Could I modify these? Or make my own? Thanks for any replies.

Thanks, so the Short Throw Shifter Kit will fit my truck? My pickup hasn't been lifted... yet.

I got my short throw tranny shifter from Marlin as well. IIRC, LC Engineering sells 'em too.

The closest LC has is for an 88. Mines an 86, unless it would still work?

You'll just have to call (or use their BBS) and ask them.
Their ad says "Applications to fit most manual transmissions and transfer cases. New oil slinger provided for EFI applications." so I think they probably have one for you (the EFI bit tells me they must make them for the older trannies too...)
