7th injector alternatives

I've been reading around a lot and it seems like a necesity to get either a 7th injector or URD with your supercharger.

However, I'm running into other alternatives. Does anyone have any experience with them? One is here;

http://www.apexi-usa.com/electronics_safc.asp

the other is

http://www.maxxautoworks.com/html/5vze_fuel_kit-01.html

please let me know what you think

don't know anything about apex .. but I think Gadget had some problems with maxautoworks awhile back ... plus their kits are a couple of hundred dollars more.

Do not use maxx. A few members here have had trouble with them. I'd recommend Gadget's solution. www.gadgetonline.com

Also, the aforementioned smt stuff is great if you like to tinker.

Do you just have the unit or do you have new injectors?

From what I was reading on another board the unit alone will make a difference but not like going with the injectors

Is there any advantage to just changing the injectors and not going with a full setup?

You can not just install larger injectors. The stock ECU will not be able to cope with that kind of change. It will run like crap.

The kit I put together uses a high end engine calibrator controller. This modifies the signals from the different sensors so you can tune the engine to do what you want and have it run perfectly all the time.

My kit is a complete solution and contains everything you need to make your truck run like it came from the factory with a supercharger.

It has:

Walbro 190 LPH pump
DENSO K22 spark plugs that are two steps colder then stock
Stant 170* thermostat
URD modified Bosch 318cc fuel injectors
URD injector adapters
Split Second Fuel/Timing calibrator
Start up program preloaded in the FTC

This is the URD Stage I kit and is the building block for the Stage II kit which contains a smaller pulley for more boost and water injection.

You can get more info on the URD system at www.URDUSA.com

Just finished placing the order.

Can't wait to get everything installed.

So far I've got the 2nd gen SC, boost gauge, air/fuel gauge, urd kit, and urd pulley. Should that be everything I need for a smooth installation?

thanks,
nags

I just finished packing your order. Good choice on the plugs.

When you say you have an air/fuel ratio gauge, what are you speaking of? I hope it is not one of those things that you hook up to the O2 sensor on the truck, because you don't have one...

If I don't have an o2 sensor, what do you suggest?
