70s series landcruisers
yes, i know there is a landcruiser section, but its practically desserted. from what i understand, 70 series landcruisers were never sold in the USA. Even in Canada they are quite rare. There is a place about 5 hours north east of where I am that brings them in from Japan and sells them. I've seen a few in my area. These things look like brand new vehicles. I've casually been looking at buying one, but they are very hard to find parts for and can be impossible in some cases. Anywho, here's the ebay link for the guy that has one up for sale right now

and here are the rest of what he has on his website

the last year of the fj40 in north america was '82 iirc
the 70 series cruisers are still made, we just can't have them because of emissions and safety regulations

i've talked to a few people that have done it and they say it's not hard at all. the pedals aren't reversed obviously, but i'm still a bit sceptical.
