5vz No Start

Quick Background:
I know squat about Toyota Engines - I'm about to learn.
I've got the FSM for a 96 T100
Need to get the FSM for the 95 Tacoma.
If you haven't guessed the 5vz was a swap from a 4cyl.
The wiring harness isn't completely done, had a tech put a diagnostic on it and he said there was no reading.

I bought the rig built with the swap already done and it ran very well for the previous owner (well documented) and for myself for nearly two years. I've driven it very little in those two years, but never had a start issue. Honestly it amazed me with how reliable it was given the swap.

Six months ago I put the rig in storage, once a month or so I'll go air the tires and fire it up and let it warm up to operating temp. The last time I went to check on it it wouldn't start. It will turn over and sounds like it starts to fire but it doesn't run.

At this point the only thing I've checked (visually) is the fuel pump which is moving fuel. I don't know how much pressure it has though.

I need to slowly begin to work through the laundry list of things it might be, I really want my rig running again by this fall (crawling season here in AZ).

Any ideas on where and what to look for are appreciated...

How old was the gas in the tank before you put it in storage for 6 months and did you stabilize the fuel? Gas will turn into varnish when it gets old and will clog the fuel system. If the problem isn't the fuel system then it's going to be ignition.

the fuel was fresh that day i should have added stabilizer to it but didn't... it's something i'll try to nail down. will also be checking for spark at the plugs. appreciate the input, will update when I've checked it out.
