4wheel problem
I was doing a little wheeling today in the runner when i came upon a loose gravel pit... Great spot for whippin the tail end around and havin some fun...well i got out of the pit and got back on the highway and tried to pop it back into 2wheel drive goin about 20 mph. The truck wouldnt go back into two-wheel and i know sometimes it is just stubborn so you have to give it a second...I gave it a sec and felt a lot of pulling on the wheel and thetruck was pulling right really bad. Stopped the truck and looked around underneath for a few and got back in. popped it into two-wheel again and all was fine. It felt like the front passenger side was still engaged...anyone have any experience like this with the stock 4wheel setup on a second-gen? Thanks!

Auto, I'm guessing... Probably just a bad disengage. The manual even states that if that happens, you should pull over. Try it again and move forward slowly to let it engage/disengage. I don't think it's a big problem unless it occurs often.
Others will pipe in for you I'm sure.

Im still running the stock auto hubs....I had another suggestion from a friend that when this happens I should drive about 20 feet in reverse and try again. But hes running a solid front axle 92 pickup with 38's and obviously manual hubs...
