4wd indicator light is flashing
Okay so I have a 2001 4runner sr5 sport and I noticed my 4wd indicator light is flashing all the time. My 4lo still works fine but I can't tell if my 4hi works at all. The button on the side of the 4wd shifter is out (where my 4hi should be off) but I don't know if it is. It seems like the ride is getting worse. I tried tapping on both actuators and still nothing. Anyone know something else?

LOL just don't do it in the future
A moderator will likely fix at some point.
Double posts are bad because you may not get all the answers you need because the right people may see one but not the other, etc. And they are annoying and make searching in the future for folks with your same problem more difficult.
Also, a good tip for anyone, since we can only see the title of your post and not the whole body when searching "new posts", try to have as much info as possible in your title (i.e. "4WD light flahses in 2001 4Runner...what does this mean?"). This way, someone who might know the answer and sees your title is more apt to click on the post, read it, and help you (and others in the future with the same issues).

Well I saw that you tried the tapping solution and it didn't come out, so one of the actuators is stuck good. You'll probably have to jack it up and get all four wheels off the ground to find out which one it is at this point.
Get it off the ground and start by turning the front tires. If the tire on the opposite side turns the oposite way the the front diff actuator isn't disengaging. Then check the driveshaft to the front wheels. If its still engaged in the transfer case it will be difficult if not impossible to turn by hand. While under there, you can also try tapping again because lifting it off the ground will also relieve the binding, and allow it to slip out of 4wd.
