4th Gen Steering Column Flex

Hey everyone,

Does the steering column on the 4th gens act like a big piston when hitting bumps on the road? Occasionally I hear a swishing from the steering column area, especially when hitting decent sized bumps in the road. It also happens over speed bumps. I took a look underneath the drivers side footwell area and noticed the steering column looks like a big piston. Maybe it expands and contracts over bumps? One end toward the top has grease on it? Anybody else noticed this same thing on their rig?

Thanks,

Dutchman
