I was washing my 04 today and had the rear window halfway down. When I wiggled it the thing really moves. Is this "normal"? It does not rattle and seems to work fine.

 

Mine does too... I don't mess around with it partially rolled down. I either have it up, or full down... Otherwise, it looks like trouble just waiting to happen.

 

I went to the beach this weekend, with the back window halfway down. When I got there, I too notice how loose the back window is, when it's halfway open. Maybe I will also ride with it all the way open or all the way closed!

 

Agreed, all the way down, or cracked no more than an inch appears to be good too.
