4th gen to 3rd

Is it possible to use 4th gen rear shocks on a 3rd gen 4runner? I'll be running LC coils and need to get longer shocks and the 4th gen are almost the same length as Lc stock shocks. I'm looking at the Rancho RSX series. I'm going to run Tacoma size shocks up front. Oh yea if so what type of Fabricating Am I looking at having to do?

Why not just use land cruiser shocks? And the answer is NO.
