4Runner won't start when hot
Hey guys, so as the title says my 96 4Runner won't start when it's hot. Replaced the starter, no difference. If I'm driving on the highway it doesn't happen after (for now), but any slow driving and I have to let it cool off for 10-15 minutes. When I try start it immediately after turning it off nothing happens, after waiting a few minutes the starter clicks, and a little while later it starts fine. Seems like maybe a bare wire somewhere or maybe a relay? Any thoughts on where to start looking? Thanks!

If you have done any searching on this forum you should know what answers you are likely to get.
First, what motor?
Second, what transmission?
Third, get a multi-meter and tell us what your battery voltage is, both at rest and when running.
Fourth, check all you ground wires and battery cable connections.
Fifth, don't throw parts at it. testing takes time, but saves money.
