4Runner towing..

Im planning on getting a system installed in my Tacoma. The shop, Tweeter, is located in Nashua, NH, which is about a hour away from where I am. They wanted 2-3 days for the install (its prety complicated).

I need to get hte truck up to them, and get home. Being one person, and trying not to interfere with anyone elses lives, the only option I have is to tow the Truck up there with the 4Runner.

The 4Runner is a 2000 SR5, 3.4L 4x4 V6, has a Factory Hitch. Im prolly going to rent a uHaul trailer.

Is there anything I should know? Anything to look out for? Im planning on at least 2 hours for the trip.

Why not use the new Tacoma to tow the 4runner? And then leave the trailer there with the truck and drive the 4runner home? That would make more sense to me as the new '05 Taco has the balls to do it with the 4.0 V6.

renting a u-haul trailor can be pricey....will only cost a couple extra bucks to drive the truck there and have a cab take you home....

I live in Ashburnham, MA, which is pretty damn close to you, depending on when you need to go I could always drive one up for you...especially if you make it worth my while by letting me play with the new taco...hehehe(evil laugh), j/k. PM me if you are interested, I will gladly drive one up for you or if you want to pay for gas I will drive my own truck up. It will save you the hassle, wear on the truck, and renting a trailer, etc.

This is the system I want Tweeter to put in. Id do it myself, but I dont have the time, afraid of breaking something in the truck, and I want the JL Warranty.

It all seems correct...except the MB Quart stuff, I have to find a dealer for that.

The one thing that looks wrong is the $200 to run the power wire...WTF? My options were to run 4 Gauge for $25, or run 0 Gauge for $200...

I thought about this, and called a few friends. Figures my girlfriend would be able to do it, on account that I stay up there and shop with her at the mall...

guess its an ok tradeoff...2 days of shopping for an awesome system..
