The poor dog.

I hate idiots like that. He was not only speading but not paying attention. I would like to take that guy if he lived put him in the back of a truck and slam the truck into a wall and watch him fly. People who put dogs or people in the back of trucks on the road are freakin dumber than dirt.

Unless the dog has a seatbelt, it is going through the windshield. Either way, pets are dead in a serious accident.

Rough deal for the dog I hate seeing that happen. That other car sure lit up quick, pretty rare for that to happen. Definitely a very serious accident, looks like the Runner stood up pretty well. That would have been a bit of a job thats for sure.

Been teaching defensive driving for 19 years, novice and professional drivers. I work for an oilfield service company now, training drivers to keep them from crashes like that. It always amazes me how surprised people are when things like that happen. Roughly 800 Canadians (and I would estimate 8000 Americans) are killed in side impacts, 2/3 of which are usually within the first second and a half of a light turning green.
