DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!
Thats insane. Anyone know the outcome of that?
This is what the article says. "Luckily, nobody was killed in this accident after the white truck completely blew a red light slamming into the cross traffic."

That 4Runner took a direct door hit. I'll tell ya, racing Figure 8 and taking door hits is scary enough with a full cage. I hope they were ok, but it looked like that 4Runner really did a good job not caving in on them. That ended up being a 7 car accident.
Look at the pedestrians crossing too, another 5 seconds and they would have been roadkill. Scary!

That was NUTS! it just missed the driver, otherwise that person wouldn't have been feeling as good as they were after that! This is why we pay attention to what we're doing 100% of the time while behind the wheel, folks. Thankfully the truck was braking (though, too late) at impact...

That's why you scan every single intersection, every single time, no matter who has "right of way".
And that's why you never enter an intersection immediately after the light has turned green. Delay long enough to do a scan and you can eliminate yourself from being a statistic.
