I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to put in a hatch window (like the kind on pickup toppers) in place of the electric winodws on first gen Runners. My window is a pain, it always freezes shut in the winter, and if i open it and it is dirty or wet, then it just scratches the glass to hell.

 

I do not know how to do this but, I used to see a blue 85 in Ann Arbor all the time that had this done. I would guess he just used the piano hinge and drilled it into the glass top. Probably had some sort of Home Depot latch on it too!
