Anything else we need to know? Still not really justifiable for the expense IMO.

DONE!!! The 4.88's are in and I'm thrilled! Thanks to Big Country Customs for the great service, and all you people here for your input. A emphatic THANKS goes to ZUK who was quick to return my e-mails and his site http://www.gearinstalls.com/index1.htm for the vast amount of info and pictures which were an enormous help with the install!!!

I love hate these threads. The old 4.56, 4.88, 5.29 discussion and I swear everytime after I read one I have my mind made up. Then I read another and seem to change it. I too wish we could have the multi setups, that or multi sets of tires/sizes.

Update: I stuck the 35's on yesterday and I'm thrilled with the difference over the 4.10's! Way better driveability around town and and much better performance on the highway. The 4.88 ratio seems perfect for the tire size. I'm still waiting to finish breaking the gears in however so I've been pretty easy on them. Another 100 miles or so and I'll change the oil and head for the hills and see how it is. One thing that's curious though, I checked my speed against my GPS the other day and my speedometer is still reading about 10% slower than I'm actually going. Weird!?
