3rd Gen - Side Mirror HELP

I'm wondering if the side mirrors are different between year 1996 to 2002 4Runner. Thanks in advance for your help.

you konw, i do believe the mirror changed VERY slightly in shape because of 96-98 owners complaining about mirror wind noise. there is a tsb on it too. check all data and you may be able to pinpoint the year.

if you are looking for a replacement mirror, just buy your same year. be safe, not sorry

straight fron toyo dealership.....no change ....model numbers differ with it being "electric" or "electric and heated" or "non electric" the mirrors themselves are all shaped the same and fit the same.....color coded to your make and model of your truck.....SR5/Sport Edition/Limited

Thanks alot guys! special thanks for JC1KZ for the confirmation. I'm trying to purchase a used side mirror and do a little modfication on the mirror in order to place my IPF 924 search light around.

Thanks again!
