Yea, well I am keeping my runner. I bought the wiring harnesses from a toyota yard in Santa Clara. My dad is having a shop install the harnesses, as easy as it is. I am picking up the interior paneling and carpet on saturday, hopefully. I also bought some Super Swamper TSL's 33's last sunday, so I am thowing those on when I get my truck on friday.

Thanks Dizzy, but I am picking up the stuff tomorrow in Santa Clara. I got a great deal on those tires too, 33's with 80% tread on American Racing Rims for $400, so i HAD to buy them, considering I am still running 31's on a 5 inch lift.

I would rather have a smoked 97 4r than an 85 pu w/22re. and yes you need a propane grill. I always dump my coals and kick the grill around a little... I will remember this though and make sure my coals are out. Feel for ya bro

mine just caught on fire but it was the engine compartment. Insurance didn't cover it. i am up ÅÅÅÅ cree and my boat is sinking. they make it so expensive to get full coverage so they can screw you when something happens.

So what exactly happened?? Have any pics? Are you saying you only had liability insurance?

I pick up my runner probably friday, so I will probably throw on my new shoes on friday as well, before I get the less important things, like driver side window and other cosmetics. Haha.

It just happened yesterday so i dont know anything or have any pics. All i do know is i am sol and out of a vehicle because i couldn't afford to get full coverage. I did only have liability. I am 21 and have 1 ticket on my record yet is was still expensive as hell for just liability.

As for the fire i have really no idea but the fire started on the front right by where the battery is. I smelled gas prior to it catching on fire but by the time i pulled over i had no brakes and my a/t temp light came on. It was downhill after that. At least the fire department got there fast enough. It is totalled though. The dash was as far as it really got. Well it melted. There was no fire in the cab as far as i know.

Wow that sucks...sorry to hear that.
If your able to part it out, this is the place to do it. At least it wouldn't be a total loss. What year/model was it?
