Finally got some to work on these (summer job is in Montana)

Cut some 22 gauge sheet metal to cover where the speakers go and started painting

Pic of the door with sheet metal (will have painted pix up tomorrow)

 

Painted pic (used Rustoleum semi-gloss)

 

looking good so far.

 

Would anyone be interested in a set? I may have found a fabricator that can make these. A set being 4 doors form probably $500 (just a guess on the high side)

I'll ask him if he's still willing to make them. The only problem is that when I originally posted, there was a 3 week period he could have my 4runner to build prototypes. I still have the doors/ measurements for him to use, but he may do it a little bit differently than I did.

do you happen to have the measurments you used ? im looking at buliding a set of my own and would like a place to start if you dont mind. also i see you used 4 10 ft pieces of tubing, did you have any left over?
