my 96 LTD has a Flowmaster and pittpat is right. it sounds nice. almost like an American V8 nice! o im running a 40 not a 44. 44 would be louder . i got my 40 for free. took the installers 3 tries to get it welded right! and i paid for the weld from a muffler shop! JERKS!

i just got a super 44. running a 2.5" from the cat on back with no tailpipe. gets in the way. gonna get a high flow cat and see how that works. sounds good but doesnt have that deep tone you're looking for. might run a small tail pipe off the muffler but not gonna make it stick out anywhere.

finally stopped by today and got a sick deal worked out with the guys down here and got it all done in the matters of 30minutes!
way quicker then i thought but they got me hooked to a borla system cat back 2.5" single in and single out because i wanted single in and out just for various reasons like spare tire and work time and cost. also got a free tip and now i love it

the sound was exactly what i wanted, and the price was wayyy awesome for me. really discounted a lot for me.
the sound is deep and low. maybe not as loud as the flows but i wanted more deep and low then the flows as they tend to give off a louder but higher pitched.
ill try to make vid
but i have no dig cam.

thanks everyone for your guys input and help really made a difference!

I run a Jardine Cat Back system; 2.5" single muffler. Link to vid(s) with sound is in my sig. I believe the system was made by Thorley and I got a killer deal 2 years ago on it (I think it was $150 shipped or something ridiculous like that).

got a nice sound from the flo 50 series on the 94 (22re w/ intake mod and headers), but the real reason i went with it was there was no drone at highway speed. i'd rather listen to tunes.

Exactly - and I carry that line too. Mine has been great so far. But we recently moved from AZ to WA, so we'll see how it goes with all the moisture here.

Quick question with the 50 series, I am looking to buy it for my 2000 4runner but flowmasters has 4 different 50 series. Which one is best for the v6 SUV?
