34 inch swampers

how much lift would i need to clear 34-12.50 on my 2nd gen 4runner. I no what all i need for 33's but was wanting to get a little bit bigger tires. Tell me around how much lift without rubbing. Or would it be better to just stick with 33's

On my 2nd gen I have a 3 inch body & 4 inch TC susp. sitting on 35 WC TXRs. As is I think I could squeeze 37s under there. I had 35s under my runner when I had 35s before my 3 inch body lift so I say your good to go.

3 (body lift) + 4 (suspension)=7 inches total with 35's.
7 inches - 3 (body lift)= 4 inches and 35's before bodylift.
Sorry, i wasn't good at these math problems in high school, but i think i got this one right

if you get a 4 inch lift, you'll be fine.

although it will depend on what tire you get. if you get swampers, they measure as tall as they are stated. some tires however, dont measure up exactly as high as they are...

ex - my 33s measure 31s for some reason on my rig?

You said you know what you need to clear 33's so just do that and pound/trim a little sheet metal if needed and possibly crank torsion bars a bit to get that extra inch.

EWA not only knows his math he knew my answer. A 4 inch lift will clear 35 inch TXR's for sure. Other tires I do not know for sure.

EWA sorry bout the math crap. I confused myself but I was in a hurry. I will keep it simple I had 4 inches of lift and 35s fit. On a different note I now have 7 inches of lift with what now look like small tires (35's)
