if you search you will find everything you could imagine, and way more than you would get out of this thread

You should search but as a newb myself, I'll help. It will raise your truck about 3 inches and also increase your center of gravity. It will look cooler IMO but will lower your gas mileage, increase your body roll on turns and will make you drive slower on the freeways.

It will also allow you to fit bigger tires, which will also decrease your gas mileage. Overall, it is the cheapest way to get a suspension lift for your truck. If you do search, there are many other options for lift and you can always PM me for the basic info. When you're questions get a bit advanced, I'll pass it on to the experts on this board. Bamachem is the guy when it comes to lift options for 3rd gens...

I did this very same mod a few months back. I used the 3" spacer lift kit from Daystar, Rancho RSX shocks and new 265-75 R16 tires (upsized from the stock 265-70 R16). I'll agree with what ebelen1 said above: your Runner will lean more in turns, and gas mileage goes down about 2 mpg with the lift and larger tires.

But the look....waaaaay better than stock. Mine goes through snow as high as my grille with no problems. Mine ran about $1000 for everything. I'll be posting a new pic in the next few days.
