2nd gen Tire question...
#1
Ok - so I thought I already posted this... guess not. I just got a '91 4Runner and want to put new tires on it. What is the biggest tire I can put on the stock wheels, whitouth putting a lift on? Thanks!!!!

31x10.50R15 will fit w/ no mods.
Some even clear 32x11.50R15's w/o any lift.
Depends on the vehicle- You can always turn the torsion bars a little to clear a larger tire.
Oh yeah--SEARCH Noobie!l

It's like 5 posts down.
Anyway, I'll delete the other one so you don't get a bunch of responses in different places. Also, try a search as this is a very common question. But the answer is 32x11.5.

Gonna depend a little bit on the tire also. I have 32x11.50 Yoko ATs that rub on full turn. Nothing major, but I wouldnt want that wheeling. I would crank the t-bars a little but with the rear sag I already have, it would look crazy to raise the front any more.

I have 32/11.5 BFG's, and I don't rub at all. I kinda wish I went with 33/10.5's. Measuring your truck from fender to rim should give you some idea of how much room you have to work with. I'm at ~14.5" front and rear.

Took me about 2 minutes and these are all on the first page. You just have to use the right search terms.
