I will be purchasing the Downey HD springs soon and have Downey's catalog which shows springs, BPV bracket, and longer brake line. I'm quessing the limiting straps shown in the picture from Central4WD don't come in the 1.5" Downey spring "kit".

That is correct. I am not sure why they show that. The kit from Central4WD is the same kit from Downey, just a bit cheaper.

I don't want to beat this to death, but the Central4WD ones are the Downey coils, just being sold by another company. Right? They come with the BPV bracket, extended brake line, and everything else Downey includes.

Yes, it is the Downey kit, just cheaper than buying directly from Downey.

That is the first time I've ever seen that for those generation pickups. How well does it align after having those installed even though the lower control arms are not relocated? Anyone have a set of these on yet?

I would not recommend the HD bars for your front supension for a few reasons. First, they are totally unecessary for lift. The height is simiply an adjustment, you have to adjust the HD bars to your liking exactly the same way you'd adjust your stock bars. Second, lifting the vehicle by means of adjusting the t-bars causes the ride to become more harsh. Third, combining that harshness with that of the HD bars makes for one REALLY stiff ride. Many have said their trucks feel as if it no longer has suspension. Only those who regularly jump their trucks seem to like that set up.

Since my 4runner has leaf springs I can't help you with the rear lift.

Frank.

Robinhood,

When you went with the stock lenght rancho 9000s, did you extend the rear brake line? Also do you have the part # for the rancho's 9000s.

Thanks,
Chris

I don't remember which I did first, replaced the shocks or lengthened the brake lines, but yes, I eventually lengthened the brake lines. However, I did this because I thought I was going to space my shocks down but I never got around to it. So, I can't say for sure whether it's necessary to lengthen the brake line with the rancho shocks. I'm GUESSING it's not necessary, but check your lines if you choose to go this route.

I don't know the part # because I bought them used. Rancho has a pretty good pdf the shows which shocks fit which trucks. www.gorancho.com
