2nd gen. runner rust problem

Ok I noticed on the rear quarter panels inside behind the storage compartment on each side of my 93 runner was filled with dirt so I hosed them out and underneath was lots of rust. What have any of you done to fix this from continuing. Im thinking sand the rust down and rhino line it in there and maybey drill a hole or two to allow any moisture to run out. any ideas? thanks

I was hoping to do something similiar to my truck. There are some rust spots that I am going to tend to next week by sanding them down and primering them with some rust preventative primer. My bed however has scattered rust spots everywhere not to big and I don't think too harming. But I will take care of them probably before I have it line-x'd in a couple of months. My dad has line-x in his truck and it looks really good and from what he told me it is a hot application vs. a cold.

Well back to the sept. 11th show on the history channel World Trade Center: Rise and Fall of an American Icon.

I don't know how you are going to sand that area since it is pretty tight!

I simply sprayed engine oil into the aforementioned area and hope that will keep the moisture away.
