Hey everyone,

I've been having this notion to install an alarm system in the Runner and get rid of the stupid factory piece of crap. I wanted to add a power window module to roll up and down (well, at least down) the back hatch window so that I could unlock the hatch without using the key.

has anyone done this? If so, alarm/module recommendations?

Lots of alarms. Go with a DEI alarm ie: Clifford, Sidewinder, or Viper. I've got a Sidewinder 6000 with dual stage shock, dual zone proximity. It's got the ability to add on. I am thinking of adding a couple relays and hooking it up to my winch(when I get it). I believe the window module is 530T. Do a search on Window and Alarm and you'll find quite a few posts concerning the window issue.
