Thanks Andy, I emailed them. We'll see what they say.

Until then, what do you guys think my best bet is? Just running wheel spacers?

I talked Brian (wabbit) and he said that if I do wheel spacers and put them on with red loctite that I wouldn't be able to take them off unless I heated them up to above 350* F. That's insane! Is there a way that I could make them stay on well enough to last me a few months until I can get a hold of a set of Lexus wheels?

Thanks,

Fink

Keep what you have for now until you can get a set of the Lexus wheels. $800 w/ almost new tires is probably the same price you were buying new tires anyway. It may seem like forever w/ the small tires but be patient and get what you want. With your new paint job, Lexus wheels w/ 305's IMO would look SICK!!!!

Then you can make up some of the cash back by selling your wheels...

PM me your email and i'll forward you the pics of the cruiser wheels w/ nittos.

he's at $800 firm, but hasn't sold them yet. that's worth about $1000 or so if the tires were brand spanking new.

Local, you bought the same LC FZJ80 wheels right?

How much did you end up paying for them to your door?

Thanks,

Fink

i got that last set of LX wheels for $310 shipped and sold them for $540 shipped to alaska and i got to keep the center caps to resell them - they're worth over $100 a set on ebay w/ good paint.

Yeah but I think Local got the Land Cruiser ones without the center stripe...those are the ones this dude with the Nitto's is selling is right?

I would prefer the ones that you have Andy, but those seem to be hard to come buy so the Land Cruiser ones that Filthy has are a fine second.

the Land cruisers wheels are the ones w/o the split spoke

the LX450s have the split spokes.

Exactly.

I feel like a dumba$$, I just re-read the email from The Colorado Wheel Company, they said they do have some of those wheels in stock. Hopefully they're not talking about the other wheels that came on those LX's...hmm...I'll be waiting to hear back from them and in the meantime I made a Want It Now ad on EBay so maybe that will help.

**WHEELS LOCATED**

Colorado Wheel Company has come through for me...just got them in 2 days ago, not even on the EBay store yet.

$562 to my door...6 lug, 5 spoke with the groove.

He's gonna take a pic and send it to me later this afternoon!

for that price, get the wheel caps. if they're in good shape, you can get $80 for them on ebay and then pick up some toyota caps. if they're crappy, i'll take them off you for $40, then i'll strip, prime, paint, and clear them and resell them and you can still get some toyota caps...

Yup, set of from an LX450.

Bama, center caps are included he said there is no physical damage possibly a little fading. We'll see what kinda shape they're in...I will probably just end up selling em to you, figure that way you make some money and I get some Toyota ones. It's the holidays, I feel giving...lol, and plus you help so many people out on here, why not.

thanks....

well, it's not a matter of me just reselling the caps and making money. it's very tedious to strip them, them prime and paint and clear w/ toyota silver automotive paint. the final product is nice though!

get some crummy toyota caps and i can refurbish them for ya too!

Awesome, I could use that as a fallback plan if these Lexus wheels from this company turn out to be no good.

Thanks Andy!

I am going to call the guy now as I have not received an email from him yet...
