that is a grat deal. I called the same place a few months ago, they want $160 shipped each for an LC wheel. However, they were reconditioned and LIKE NEW.

Are you getting them???

He was supposed to email me some pics and hasn't yet, I will call him in a minute to check and see whats up.

If the pics come through and they look decent then I'll definitely pull the trigger...odds are I will get them.

not to hijack this thread, but why is it that some of you guys can run 285's on stock wheels with no problems and at the same time some have trouble?

it seems that some people just run them unitl the part of the tire rubs off from the a-arm thus allowing for it to clear.

As far as I know there is nobody running 285's on stock Limited wheels without ANY modification. You can run a wheel spacer, shaved a-arms, or different wheels.

this sucks. i've been collecting penny's to do a 2.5" lift and 285's on my stock wheels. i can't afford spacers, shaved a-arms, or new wheels. do you think it has something to do with the mud terrains? i plan (ed) on getting the nitto terra grapplers. maybe these will work.

I dont think its b/c of the tire. I wouldnt risk getting 285s to put on your stock wheels or your going to end up in a similar situation like 4x4fink. Id say just get new wheels and tires.

Dude...trust me, it definitely sucks!

But it's definitely my own fault, if I had done my research and not rushed into this I would have noticed that not many people are running stock wheels with 285's without any other modification.

What I am doing to come close to break even is getting the Lexus wheels, get them mounted and ready to rock and then selling my Limited wheels. In the end I'll probably be out about $150 or so.

It doesn't have anything to do with the tires either...this thing would rub no matter what kind of rubber is on there...its just the type of wheel won't allow it.

I never posted one saying that they fit...I posted a long thread saying that I got to Sam's and got the fronts test mounted and they were sitting on top of the a-arms and wouldn't budge.

Marlin makes good wheels spacers for only $85/pair, I've heard of many people using them with zero problems. You can contact Ric about it, he is running Limited wheels with 285's and 1/4" spacers.

I just ordered the wheels, they couldn't get the pictures out to me today but I went ahead and ordered them because they came through for me before when I ordered a Limited wheel from them so I trust them. And I have 10 days to return em if they're not in good condition.

It's cool man, good luck with your lift.

Just a heads up, if you ever need wheels I would highly recommend Colorado Wheel Company, they have very good customer service and can pretty much get any wheel you would ever need!
