awesome looking, I can see your wasting no time on getting this beast trail ready! Was wondering where you picked up the LC rims, I looked for them a while ago, but only turned up new ones from the dealer. No local salvage yards have them.

Thanks guys!! I got the LC rims from a guy on www.ih8mud.com

I am planning on sliders and a TJM-17.... but I want to wait and see if the lift will happily clear the 285s, or if I will have to do a BL as well...

The underside of the frame looks all unhappy in the pics too... needed to keep washing down further I guess...

a little black spray paint would fix up the frame and make it look real nice. washing down there would take forever

So, wait. Are the tires rubbing with just the PP springs now? Back end looks a little low, have a lot of weight back there? Looks great with those rims/tires

Any details on where I can get it? and what kind of prep is needed for the underside? what about temperature issues with exhaust?

PS the truck looks fantastic

they do make them b/c I was going to get them.

Check Cooper's website.
The 315 is about 34.5"x11.9"x16"

You can get it at Walmart. I used it on my wheel wells to keep them looking black. It lasted about a year so I have to do it again. I used 2 cans for that and each can is about $4. Prep- just wash off any loose dirt. It will last longer than spray paint.

The flares are painted Bushwackers. I picked the up from PP in the day.

I'm looking forward to hooking up with you guys. Hopeflly the wife will let buy my new truck soon. But Freakin housing prices are so high in Vancouver. We'll see.

I'm deciding btn the new FJ

(stolen from another YT thread) or the 4th Gen 4runner. Do I want class or brute?

The black FJ I drove was a manual full time 4x4. It was nice, but it did not seem as nimble as my old runner. Maybe I'm just prejudice. However it did have blind spots that I was really not to fond of, but I'm willing to live with them. The RevteK FJ really has me leaning towards the FJ though.

Sorry for the Hijack Bob.
