275K and finally throws frst "code"

check engine light comes on for first time ever,reads.."o2 circuit slow response,bank1, sensor1"
obviously I know it is the oxy sensor, who has seen this particular one? and what is my fix? I don't know squat about the sensor/sensors, any help would be greatly appreciated. truck still runs fine, what problems can arise from this code? thanks in advance

2000 runner ltd V6 275K

I would just swap it out. I would for the next week be spraying those two studs with PB blaster. I think i payed under a hundred dollars for my sensor on www.sparkplugs.com

I'm guessing that you have the v6, so what that description tells me is that the oxygen sensor before the cat on your drivers side needs to be replaced or has a bad connection, depending on how many oxygen sensors you have. If there are only two then it is the sensor before the cat.

Oxygen sensors do go bad after so many years and don't send the correct signal to the computer anymore. Results are usually bad gas mileage.

thanks for the input guys, the light went out after about 6-8 key cycles and has remained off, think I should still replace sensor considering the high miles??
