Thumbs up 22re custom heat shield for intake

Since I got a cone filter I notice a lot more throttle response in cold weather but not so much in hot conditions. I welded up a heat shield to keep the hot air out of the intake out of aluminum (It was kindof a PITA so I at least gota show it off a little). What do you think? Has anyone else ever done this? If so, pleas show us some pictures.

nice job, looks good.

you guys might want to do like I did and extened the coolant overflow tube down below the bottom of the bottle. That way if something was to go wrong you would not spray coolant all over you nice filter.
