2005 Mods Review!!

I've finally got the 4runner squared away for a while, still a few loose ends to tie up but I've gotten a lot of mods completed now. New mods include:
-15% front window tint
-1.5" Marlin wheel spacers
-Rattle-canned skidplate w/TRD logo and painted shackles
-2" 4crawler body lift w/custom gap guards
-Stubbs sliders (15* cant)
-Replaced sound system: Pioneer 8600 w/2 JL Audio W1 12s
Enough talk, here are the pics!

The truck is a little dirty, but you guys get the idea!
I'm still working on a custom hitch that will fit flush with the bumper after the body lift, and I'm going to do something with the exhaust but I haven't decided on exactly what I want to do.
Let me know what you guys think!

I'm from Kinston, so not too far up the road from you. I go to school at Carolina though and spend my summers in Atlantic beach, so I'm not in Kinston too often. I'm home this weekend, those pictures were taken right along the Neuse River today.

Just dug up a few old pics off the computer, I figured I'd post them to show how different lift setups compare.

Suspension stock, 265/75 BFGs

After 3" Revtek and OME suspension lift, NO BODY LIFT

I'm really glad I ended up adding the 2" body lift, it gave the 285's a lot more room!

Little dirty = I haven't washed it in about a month, I wasn't trying to say that I just came home from a mud bog or something

Haha. I was bored on a Sunday afternoon and figured I would paint it silver just to see what it looked like, got kinda carried away and added the TRD too.
I ended up liking the way it turned out, plus it really helps the gas mileage and pick up

Ever thought about some Hella Black Magic's on your grill instead of those Hella 500s? That would look pretty cool with your headlights. I can super-impose some for you on a picture if you want to check out what it would look like.

other than that, all I gotta say is MORE ARMOR!!!!

I went to a local offroad shop a few days ago and talked with a few of the guys there. They do a lot of body lifts, so they were pretty familiar with raising hitches. They told me that basically what the would do is cut the side brackets off the stock hitch, so that it was in three pieces. Then they would basically fabricate a new location so that it would either be flush with the bumper, or be up behind the bumper with just the reciever hanging below (like the tacomas). A combination of bolts and welds would be used to mount the hitch and put the pieces back together, so it would be plenty strong. He said he would need my 4runner for a few days, so I'm not sure when I'm going to do it, but hopefully I can get it done before spring. I'll let you guys know how it all turns out.

I've looked at the Black Magics, but never really paid them a whole lot of attention. I would like to upgrade my driving lights, but if I did get new ones I'd get something a little larger in diameter than my 500s. How big are the Black Magics, and are they a lot brighter?
