Atleast Toyota made the 4Runner and Tacoma's front end look differntly. The new Frontier/Xterra (both look like side effect of steroids) and Dakota/Durango's front look identical. That's how they're able to sell it for cheaper - cutting corners.

Think I'll wait until being able to test drive both.

Not sure how much of a difference this will make in the real world, as Toyota trucks are generally lighter than Nissan trucks, and they may both end up with similar hp/lb and tq/lb ratios.

That's gonna be cool when you trade in your '04 Taco and the Nissan dealer has to pay YOU for the trade-in!

Billy say:

Nissan = terrible design with very good motors...

Toyota = wicked design with adequate motors...I suppose more than adequate, but dodge has been running 2 different V-8's in their dakota for years now. As far as the 4.0L, it has a ton of potential, esp with a blower, but get that new vvti 4.7L into those suckers asap!

Nissan has stepped up to the plate as of late no doubt, and I personally feel the Titan is a very solid truck. Toyota has owned the plate for a good 15 years so I suppose I am contradicting myself...either that or my chardonnay is interferring with my judgement, lol...anyway, I think both companies have reputable stuff on the market these days and both deserve a fair arguement.
