Ready to buy a 2003 sport 4 runner V8 color keyed fender flares. But have checked with a number of dealers and cant get the 6 cd changer unless I get the suv with the 2 tone clading on outside. Want to stick with the all one color look so can only get the single CD radio. Will I miss this or able to upgrade in future?

I asked could I wait for 2004 but one dealer said they checked and first production run only has single CD also
Just cant makeup my mind. I figured I would ask what most of you would do. Get a 2003 sport now with single CD. Or wait maybe 3 months and get a 2004 maybe also get the 6 CD changer. Plan on keeping this SUV at least 10 years. Also really like the hood scoop on sport edition

Buy the one with the color cladding, minus any CD, and put in an aftermarket CD/Tuner.

 

Try this idea on for size. Get he single CD player and have an XM radio installed. Many of my friends don't even listen to CD's anymore because they're on XM. It can be added to your stock head unit and only costs about 299. I like the rear audio sytem IF, yes IF you get the wireless headphones. My daughter and I listen to two different stations (shes wearing the headphones). thats the best part of the rear audio system.

Again, with Xm you may not even need additional CD's to play.

I had exactly the same issue. Called my salesman a liar until he produced a nationwide list of 03 Sports and there was not one with dual level cargo system and the six disc.

Until I upgrade the entire system, I am just going to use an FM modulated changer for the long road trips... not the quality I want but then the who JBL system is not the quality I want.
