2002 4Runner Snorkel

Does anyone know where you can order a snorkel for a 2002 4Runner or what parts to get to build it yourself?

Hey nice handle.

You can buy snorkles that fit Tacomas. ARB makes them for nice and expensive. You can make your own. Check the tech section, but, I think that the sections might be down temporarily.

also search on here for "internal snorkel" that brucets geniusly came up with, thats prob the route i will go when i'm in need of one. I believe bruce also did the install on calrockx's ride, so it does work with the stock fenders.

2002 4Runner with an ARB snorkel, purchased abt 3 years ago for 285 off 4x4connection.com, you can argue that it looks clean for what it is

I was at lowe's earlier this week, the elbows you probably want to use for an internal snorkel are 3" 90 degree vent elbows, they were about 5 bucks each. Ten feet of the 3" abs pipe is about 10$. The vent elbows are the most compact of the 90 elbows. I'm going to do this mod myself in the near future, just waiting for a weekend that i can devote entirely to working on the runner.

Does the ARB snorkel decrease gas comsumption at all or is it a good trade for a stock air intake set up?

the snorkel didnt seem to change my mpg, i could only assume it would help it via the colder/cleaner air and the forced induction at speed it causes.
