2000 4Runner Sport/Highlander stock height

I just installed my lift (OME rear and SAW front), and me being a dumb a$$, I forgot to measure the stock/before height. Is there someone with a stock 2000 Sport/Highlander 4x4 that would measure the height (ground to bottom of fender flare) so it would give me "somewhat" of an idea of how much to crank up the SAW's. I still have the stock 265/70 R16's @ 36 PSI's. Thanks.

Front: 34.25"
Rear: 34.75"

Those are the averages that I've come across for the 2000's.

Here are some others:

Front diff skid: 10"
Body seam: 17.5"
Transfer case: 11.25

Darren,

If those are averages then it's possible that some 2000's were higher from the factory?

Jim,

Actually, I need to correct myself here. At the time I wrote that, I thought I kept averages, but in fact, I kept the highest values. The variances are very small, though. We're generally talking 1/4", and 1/2" at the most, though the numbers above are what I've found to be most common. So no, I wouldn't expect any (2000's or newer) to be much, if any, higher.

Sorry for the Mini Hyjack

Well, I guess mine is lifted farther than I thought.

I sit at:

39.5 Rear
38.25 Front

I must be getting used to it because I thought my springs were sagging, it just seems lower.

Keep in mind, too, that your tires add 1.5".

So, you're sitting roughly at 2.5 and 3.25". Not bad.

Yeah, good call. I didn't even think about the tires.

But realistically they probably only add about an 1", but I have a 1" BL too.

So the front is probably only lifted about 2" and the back 2.75", that's more like what I thought I had.

I forgot about your body lift.

More math:

My 285's have netted exactly 1.5" over the OEM's. All rear diffs sit at 9.5" with stock 265/70's, so You can calculate your difference from that. For what it's worth, I also previously ran 265/75 MT/R's, which added .5".

Interesting, I just measured under the diff and it's only 10.25". So the BFG 285's only net about .75" over stock.

So that put's me at about 3" in the rear and 2.25" in the front.

Well, I was hoping stock was a little higher than that. I currently sit at 36.75 front and 38 rear. I guess I'm right at the max in the front. Thanks for the info.
