Cornfed Spacer Question

I just ordered a set of 2" Cornfed spacers and got them in the mail today. They look great and I am definitely pleased. I was looking at the front spacer though, and was wondering how I will get 2" of lift from a spacer that only measures 1" on the outside and about 1.5" on the inside.

I had read once about an elbow-type effect, where the spacer was like the elbow in the respect that if you hold your arm out and lower your elbow 1", your hand will be lowered several inches. Anyway, just wondering how the thing actually works. Thanks guys.

I ordered them from David (through the cornfed website), he was really great as I order the spacers late Wed. night and had them at my door yesterday morning. They are expensive, but definitely look to be of high quality..........I'm just ready to install them!!

I'm not trying to steer you away from YotaTech, but most of the guys on this site are running Cornfed lifts. You can ask around over there. Dave from Cornfed is on that board so he may even chime in.

Remember back to highschool geometry and Similar Triangles. Your A-arm is bar with a hinge at one end. Lower the bar at the middle 1 inch and measure how much the end of the bar has moved...it's more than 1 inch.
