my sisters 00 4runner the exact same as yours looking wise but except its all silver on the trimming and bumpers.

the reason you wheels are turning black is from the brake dust try getting a better quality pad...Spend the extra couple bucks and save the headache and sweat later>

Was she in Lone Pine this past December? I saw another 4Runner drive by in Desert Dune, with the same Borla exhaust. Eeeerie!

update i did go to autozone and it was right when we looked it up for a 00. when i went last time it wasnt right i had to look it up by an 03.

My find from years before is for stock or cheap rotors then cheap pads delay the warped rotor issues we have on the 3rd gens at least for a little while. I finally ponied up for Brembo blanks and went with semi-metallic pads. So far nearly a year later I've not experienced rotor warpage. Now I'm feeling the rear drums are out of round.

Other option is the Tundra caliper/rotor set up. I've got 15" wheels and have read they aren't compatible with the Tundra swaps like the 16" wheel package.
