I just turned over 426,000km which is just about 265,000Miles

The previous owner did all the maintenance at the dealership. I've been doing oil changes myself with toyota filters and 1L of amsoil mixed with 4.8L of 10W30 dino oil...the same oil they use at the dealership. Done every 3000miles.

New water pump, clutch, t-belt(3rd in its life) done earlier in 2008. Normal stuff before.

1996 Sr5 5sp 5vzfe = 218,000 miles

Just had valves adjusted because I was replacing leaky valve cover gaskets and they did not even need it...not one!!

I know they say they never should need adjusted but this proves it!!

Replaced the alternator and ignition system but everything else (engine) is pretty much stock. Hopefully I can roll over 300k one day.

Nice looking hoe runner.

I always feel like these threads are started by someone who used to own a car or truck that used to break down all the time. I only buy Toyotas or Hondas for myself, so I expect at least 200,000 out of them! I say 'for myself,' because I buy and sell all makes and models on the side.

I'm at 199,800 right now and should hit 200,000 for my drive home today. 1993 single cab 4wd 22RE 5 spd. Got rear ended bad last week but still managed to get up to 75 on the freeway yesterday. Still got spunk but hear a clattering sound every now and then, timing chain? Other than oil changes, I changed water pump, ngk plugs, wires, cap, rotor, idler arm, R main seal and brakes, radiator since I bought it with 131k.
Think I should just change the timing chain and let it be? Thinking of selling it as is or buying bed or flat bed material.

I have 4Runner with a 3vze that the HG went at 210,853. Now I'm breaking in a fully rebuilt 3vze swaped out of an 88 pickup. Hope this one will last another 200K.

Just over 212,000 on my '97 3.4L 4Runner. I bought it a few weeks ago, when my '97 Tacoma got repurchased due to frame rust. The Taco only had 130,000 and they wouldn't let me keep the 3RZ out of it :-(

My 4Runner needed a head gasket when I bought it, but it ended up being cheaper to have a friend swap the engine than have the shop do the gasket, so I got a 100k engine out of a '98 instead. Which basically means I have a lot of driving to do before it dies...

You'll have to excuse the crappy cell phone pic.

I think Hilux808 is lying.

I think that pic is from '91 since it almost looks like he just drove it off the lot.
