253,000

just did the timing and components, water pump and plugs. Still runs like a champ, full compression, oil level never dips from where I left it at the last change. Did the rear springs, waaaaaayyyy better in the back end. 16.5mpg(heavy traffic) but still gets 20+ highway. I'm gonna run that 5vz until it dies then drop in another and keep on keep'n on.

I'm almost there. 197,700. I Just changed the TB and water pump, cam seals and crank seal last weekend. Engine doesnt burn or leak oil at all. The original cam seals were stiff but not leaking one drop. Have to admit, I was surprised. 200k on the cam seals is amazing.

My 96 Tacoma with the 5vz-fe has just under 267,000 miles and I drive it every day. I get asked about once a month if I want to sell it, to which I politely respond, "Hell no!"

Just rolled over 244,000 on my '00 Supercharged Limited 4X4. Still running like an absolute beast! I converted the antenna to a manual up and down, and the clock on the dash flickers. Those are the only 2 problems I have! No check engine lights or anything...nada!!!

Just bought this 3.0 v6 with 228k! Timing belt was done in '98 with 87k and it still runs ok. In my garage now so I can rebuild the top end. Hopefully I'll get another 228k or more!

Love seeing the miles people are putting on these 3.4s. I haven't seen one with 400K but I'm sure it's been done.

Pretty sure you've got the 3.0, 3vze, not the 3.4 5vze, But welcome and congratulations anyway! For all the trash we like to talk about the 3.0, it's still a great engine.

I'm at 192,000 so I'll be in the club soon!

This thread is 10 years old! There seriously needs to be a 300,000k mile club now. It's pretty much a given that these trucks will get 200k with ease, and just about all of them on the road have that many miles. In the Toyota world, 200k miles just isn't that impressive anymore

Yes but since we're in the 95-2005 section, you're good!

But yeah...just when I was excited about 200,000, now I'm reminded that it's really not a big deal after all...

But that's ok, I didn't put any of the previous 190,000 miles on it anyways, so it won't mean much to me until I've put some of these miles on myself.
