2" body lift

Can some one that has a 2 inche body lift on a 3rd gen runner post a pic of there 4x4 shifter after the lift. I just want to see how far it sets down in the boot before it goes on. Also did you have to do any adjustment to the auto transmision shifter linkage.

No pics, but I did a 2" body lift and the 4x4 shifter drops 2" in the boot and still looks and works fine. I did not have to do any other auto tranny shifter adjustment either, but others have. Check my write-up on my website for more info.

I would recommend the Roger Brown 2" body lift @ www.4crawler.com

Any more questions about the 2" body lift just PM me, I'll be glad to help!

What's this about a boot? I have a 96' and the shifter for the automatic just goes into a plastic piece. As I can see there is probably 1.5" from the bottom of the handle to the top of the plastic showing the gear letters. How can I do a 2" lift without extending the shaft?

I believe the A/T shifter on the 3rd gens is attached to the body, so it raises with the lift. All you need to do is adjust the linkage below the truck to accomodate the lift:
