1st gen grill

I have a question for all the 1st gen runners and 2nd gen pickups. I found an auction on ebay for an aftermarket grill (I am not posting the link so I don't cause the price to rise sky high ). It says it fits 1984-1986 4x2 and 4x4 pickup and 1987 4x4 pickup only. Would it fit on an '88 pickup? Are the bolt holes different or sumthing? Thanks!

Definately should fit. I got a grill from a 92 p/u from a friend and all the slots still look like they line up.

Post pics if you get it!

It is a Russell Ultra Tech Custom Truck Grille. I browsed through the sellers's other auctions and he has about 6 of the same name brand grilles. I searched the net for the grille name and pretty much found nothing. I'm not sure if I should bid, as it may come out to be around $75 total.

Help me out guys, should I get it?

edit: Now don't you be bidding on that sucker!! I'm watching you Plays_With_Toys!! J/K!!

Its all yours 4bangR.

I haven't ever used ebay. On top of that, I am rather a fan of how the grill on my truck looks. If I were to do any kind of grill, it would be a big cut out with black mesh inlay with a small toyota emblem in the corner... mmmm... sexy.... I may have to make it...

edit: I just thought of something! Get a pic of your truck from head on and photo-chop it onto your truck, see what it will look like. Or if you aren't good with photoshop, then get someone else to real quick, someone on here will, just ask in Off topic.

Oh and happy festivis!

I have been defeated!! Man, the guy that won was determined to have that grill. I stopped bidding at 70- it would have been $85 with shipping. He won with $71. O well, now i have $85 more to put towards a lift...

edit: I forgot to say thanks for the help guys. Plays_With_Toys, that grill sounds schweeeeeeeet! Make me one too!
