1999 4runner remote add on Rs3000
Before anyone asks, yes I have read the FAQ and yes I have searched all of the net.
My rig came with only one remote for the stock RS3000 alarm. No big deal. Just purchased one off of Ebay with the same FCCID. It does work. When I tried to reprogram with the door/unlock/ignition process, it rejects by locking and unlocking twice. When I try to add the current remote, it does the same thing.
The alarm ECU is not under the seat. Where is it?
Am I doomed to the stealership and their $75 fee?
