Hey all... just wanted to share this. I put some clear lens signal lights on my 2000 Tacoma. The sucky thing is that they came with the amber colored bulb which showed through the clear lenses pretty good as you can see in the pictures below. Anyways... I bought the chrome bulbs and the still blink amber. These were the 1156 style bulbs. I found them on ebay and even though I've only had them a few days they were worth the $9.23 (shipped) I spent for them both off of ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW). I think it's a cleaner look and just wanted to share the pictures and tell you about the good deal. Enjoy.

How many shots did you have to take to get one with the bulb on?

 

9 bucks for 2 bulbs seems steep? Checker auto was selling those silverstars for like 20 bucks. What's a good price for chrome bulbs (honestly asking... not being sarcastic)?

You (and actually myself) wouldn't believe it. First freakin' shot with the blinkers on I nailed it! I was quite surprised to be honest with you! I thought I'd have to take at least 3-5 shots.

 

I got those chrome plated bulbs from the same guy for my corners and turn signals.
